Kick off the New Year…5 Reasons to Join Today:

An important Mission – The Club was established in 1931 “to create and perpetuate a common interest in the Killdeer Island community and its welfare.” Seventy-nine years later, we are still committed to helping the Island and the lake we call home thrive and prosper. With new membership on board, we have many exciting things planned for 2010.

Water Rights and Access for all – All Killdeer Island residents that join the club have access and use of its properties, including Sandy Shore Beach (including 8 other Rights of Way), boat launches, dock space and, of course, our club house.

Social and Community Events – The Killdeer Island Club will hold a number of
fundraisers and social activities this year. We are planning to expand our events to
include new family-focused activities. Additionally, we will keep you informed of other important topics in the community (including updates from the Webster Lake Association regarding weed, silt and pollution control and maintaining the Killdeer Island rights of way).

Also enclosed is an invitation to join the 130 Club, our signature social event of
the year. For $30, you can attend our great annual dinner at Point Breeze and be entered into 25 drawings throughout the year. Anyone can participate in the 130 club.

A Chance to Improve our Island – We hope many of you have noticed the
improvements to the beach, the Club House and the Right of Way on South Shore Road. We plan to expand this effort by continuing to improve Sandy Shore and clearly marking all Rights of Way, which may include survey and landscape work.

Joining the Club is a great way to bring your ideas forward and help us to continue our efforts to improve the island, your investment, and protect the lake.

The Best Investment in Town – Dues are $35 per year, per person. Where else can you spend so little to enjoy social activities with family and friends, share important
information about your community and help maintain and protect our beautiful
community for the enjoyment of all?

Join today!! Fill out the application Club applications are enclosed. Please return it by April 30th. Once we
receive your completed application, you will receive your membership card. We look
forward to seeing you at our meetings.
